Welcome to The Love Thy Neighbor Project, a community initiative by ArtFluent designed to bring small, meaningful pieces of art to the doorsteps of homes across Pinellas County.

As the founder of ArtFluent, I’ve always believed in the power of art to transform spaces and connect people. Over the years, I’ve led several community projects—like the Mini Mural installations in Palm Harbor and other towns—that provided free, uplifting art for everyone to enjoy. This project is the next chapter in that mission, one that comes deeply from the heart.
I surround myself with amazing humans. Humans of all different creeds, color, sexuality and cultures. Humanity comes in all forms and I stand by accepting good humans as they are, respecting their personal preferences and embracing our differences. I strongly discourage all forms of racism, homophobia and exclusion.

What This Project Is About
The Love Thy Neighbor Project creates driveway and mailbox murals that celebrate inclusivity and honor marginalized communities—those whose voices are too often quieted. These vibrant designs serve as symbols of love, unity, and belonging.

Public art has an incredible power to connect. Every time someone from a marginalized group passes by one of these murals, it can feel like a quiet embrace from their community—a message that says:
“You are seen. You matter. You belong here.”
​
That feeling is powerful. It’s why this project exists: to keep alive the message of hope and inclusion that so many large-scale street murals have carried, even as many of them are now being removed.

A Project Led With Love
This initiative is not about politics or division. It’s about leading with love—using art as a bridge to create understanding, compassion, and community. While we’ve included examples of well-known inclusivity flags and color schemes, we know there are countless other symbols that represent the beautiful diversity of our world. We welcome suggestions, ideas, and designs that reflect the voices you feel should be represented.

I’m donating my time to make this project a reality, and I’m working alongside a talented group of ArtFluent artists to bring it to life. These murals will be created for FREE.

My goal is to execute as many of these murals as possible. Flood our communities with love and compassion. I hope this can start a trend to other artists in other communities in the state who are compelled to spread this same message of love and inclusivity via art.

What is the Love Thy Neighbor Project?
The Love Thy Neighbor Project is a community art initiative by ArtFluent that creates small, colorful murals for homes and mailboxes. Each mural honors inclusivity and celebrates marginalized communities, serving as a reminder that love and belonging have a place in every neighborhood.

Is this a political project?
No. This project is about people, not politics. It’s about using art to uplift those whose voices have too often been quieted, and creating symbols of unity, visibility, and hope in our neighborhoods.

Why focus on marginalized groups?
Because public art has always been a powerful way to say, “We see you. You matter.” Many large-scale street murals that carried these messages are being removed. This project helps keep that sense of support alive in a new, grassroots way.

How Much Do The Murals Cost?
THESE MURALS ARE PROVIDED FOR FREE. I have aligned myself with several artists who want to spread love through their art. Donations are accepted, but not required. Donations will go towards high quality paint, to be durable for driveways, and supplies for artists. Donations will also help to provide compensation to the artists donating their time - and help allow artists to free up more time in their schedules to create this artwork.

What if I want to suggest a different flag or symbol?
We welcome it! There are so many communities and causes that deserve visibility. While we’ve included well-known inclusivity flags, we’re open to learning and including other symbols that represent the voices you care about.

Can I request a design that’s not about inclusivity, like an American flag or “Back the Blue”?
This specific project is focused on marginalized communities whose voices need more representation. While we absolutely respect all individuals’ freedoms to express themselves in other ways, the purpose of this initiative is to create art that uplifts those who have historically been silenced.

How can I get involved?
You can request a mural for your home, suggest a design, share the project on social media, or donate to support the artists who are volunteering their time. Every action helps spread love in our neighborhoods.
