COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Art That Unites
Michelle Sasha
Painting Connections and Love Into Every Town
What began with a single palm tree in Fall of 2021, has grown into a movement. In Palm Harbor, Michelle Sasha painted her first community palm tree mural as a way to spark joy, unity, and local pride. That one symbol soon multiplied—spreading to over 1,000 homes across Palm Harbor to date, and igniting similar projects in four other towns. Each painted logo became more than just art—it became a shared identity, a reminder that creativity can build connection..

Today, Michelle and her team at ArtFluent Creatives continue this mission by launching community-based projects that give neighborhoods a voice through art. From townwide symbols of unity to inclusive murals that celebrate diversity, these projects are rooted in one purpose: to use art as a bridge between people, cultures, and communities.

Up next, Michelle is bringing this vision to Gulfport, FL with a GULPORT GECKO Project, and introducing a new initiative to Tampa Bay; the LOVE THY NEIGHBOR Project, designed to keep inclusivity and belonging alive, even in the face of laws that try to erase it.
